Salima had an impressive playing career at Penn State where she was four-time All-Big Ten selection and three-time All-American setter en route to two NCAA Final Four appearances. She also served as a two-time team captain of the U.S. National Team.

Salima went on to coach collegiately at Oregon State, Penn State and the University of Texas. Between her playing days at Penn State and coaching at Penn State and Texas, she has participated in 10 final fours and won 4 National Titles and mentored and coached numerous All-Americans. Salima is currently the Executive Board President of the JVRA (Junior Volleyball Recruiting Association), an organization created to develop professional relationships that will clarify, improve, and advance the collegiate recruiting process in the sport of volleyball.

Salima spends time both in the office and in the gym with a focus on creating and actualizing an improved learning experience for both the athletes and coaches, community outreach and other club related functions.
