Victoria Podrebarac
Originally from Austin, TX where she first started playing volleyball at the age of 13. She began playing club volleyball the next year and finished her last year in the 18's division at Austin Juniors. She attended Anderson High School where she was the captain and MVP for three of her four years there. She spent her first two years of college at Texas Lutheran University in Seguin, TX where she was fortunate enough to continue her volleyball career. During high school and college, she received many honors, accolades, and school records for athletics as well as Academic All-district. In addition to being a student athlete, she coached for La Vernia Volleyball Club as an assistant for the top 13's team her Freshman year (2012-2013 season) and then as an assistant for the top 17's team at Centex Volleyball Club the following year (2013-2014 season). During the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons, she assisted the 13 Red team here at AJV. The following year was her first year as a head coach (14 White), where her team finished 3rd place in the 14 Select Division at Lonestar. The next two seasons, Victoria head coached for 14 Red and last year moved north and head coached for 14 Toro. This will be Victoria's 10th year coaching and she loves getting to share her excitement for the game and incorporating the skills she has learned as a former athlete. She graduated in December of 2016 from Texas State University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Sports Science and a minor in Business. She's happy to be back for another season at AJV and hopes to strengthen the skills of young women both on the court and off the court. Victoria has been coaching with Austin Juniors since 2014.
