This is Jay’s 13th season with Austin Junior Volleyball, coaching both indoor and sand. He has coached girls and boys teams ranging from 12s through 16s and is currently coaching 13 Cedar Park.

Jay’s previous coaching experience includes three years at St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School Volleyball and serving as a Middle School Head Volleyball Coach with Round Rock ISD. Over the past decade, he has coached youth volleyball extensively, providing one-on-one training as well as leading numerous summer camps, clinics, and school-level programs for both middle and high school athletes.

Accomplishments include a top finish in 16 Boys at the Lone Star National Qualifier, a 3rd place finish at the Pacific National Qualifier, and a top-five finish at the AAU National Finals.

Jay’s goal is to teach and grow his players not only in the sport of volleyball, but also in teamwork and life skills.

A graduate of Adams State University, Jay also holds a  Master’s degree in American History and currently teaches and coaches in Round Rock ISD.
