Marcos Vargas is entering his fourth season with Austin Juniors Boys, bringing a wealth of volleyball experience and a passion for coaching. Originally from Roma, Texas, Marcos pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where he played for the Men’s Club Volleyball team, served as the manager for the Division 1 Women’s Volleyball team, and contributed to the team’s success by taking stats. His coaching journey includes working with the UT Women's Volleyball Summer Camps and assisting teams across the Austin and San Antonio areas. When he's not coaching, Marcos serves as the Academic Dean at Georgetown ISD, balancing his love for education with his commitment to helping scholars achieve their best. Outside of work, he enjoys reading, running, and playing volleyball with local leagues and friends.
